fosse garantida
This dissertation is the product of the exploratory study with a qualitative approach that intends to argue that the strategic security actions/operations carried out by South African security forces have converged to ensure the survival and interests of Afrikaans Nationality – Afrikanerdom – in South Africa. The research makes it possible to argue that the apartheid regime of South Africa, influenced by the Afrikaans elites and the intelligence and security apparatus of the State, has developed measures to combat the threats of Total Onslaught and Revolutionary Onslaught, by Operation of the total National Strategy (1977) and the total Counter-Revolutionary Strategy (1985). These strategies promoted national security policies, which, summarily, resulted in policies of regional and internal destabilization, regional and internal counter-mobilization policies, and an area defence policy, which led to Execution of actions/operations, measures and national security projects for effect. Although these actions/operations, measures and projects have not completely eliminated the defined threats, it has allowed liberation and allied movements to collaborate in the creation of negotiating conditions that guarantee the survival of the interests of Afrikaans Nation – Afrikanerdom – in South Africa, and the complete democratization of South Africa's political system
