Esta dissertação decorre do estudo do processo de criação de uma narrativa visual. Desta forma, serão descritos todos os exercícios realizados ao longo do processo, desde a exploração do texto utilizado como base para a representação gráfica, até à finalização de uma prancha de banda desenhada que reuniu todas as aprendizagens obtidas na reflexão crítica dos exercícios realizados. Através deste processo pretende-se compreender quais as dificuldades que possam surgir na criação de uma narrativa visual, assim como quais as possíveis soluções técnicas. Da mesma forma, tem-se como objetivo perceber quais as características de maior relevância no desenvolvimento de uma narrativa visual. Apresenta-se também um breve enquadramento teórico sobre a ilustração e banda desenhada, procurando compreender as suas origens e auxiliando a perceção das suas características fundamentais. Finalmente pretende-se que a descrição deste processo exploratório apresente um resultado que culmine nas reflexões retiradas ao longo do processo, refletindo por isso numa evolução artística que reúne todos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longos dos diversos anos de formação artística.
This dissertation stems from the study of the process of creating a visual narrative. ln this way, ali the exercises carried out throughout the process will be described, from the exploration of the text used as a basis for the graphic representation, to the finalisation of a comic panel that brought together ali the lessons learnt in the critica! reflection of the exercises carried out. The aim of this process is to understand the difficulties that can arise when creating a visual narrative, as well as possible technical solutions. Likewise, the aim is to understand which characteristics are most important when developing a visual narrative. A brief theoretical framework on illustration and comics is also presented, seeking to understand their origins and helping in the realisation of their fundamental characteristics. Finally, it is intended that the description of this exploratory process will present a result that culminates in the reflections drawn throughout the process, thus reflecting an artistic evolution that brings together ali the knowledge acquired over several years of artistic training.
