Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino
A importância
A distância
inferiorização e culpabilização do outro, faz-me acreditar que seria essencial o
The current work has the main purpose of showing how the work in context of Supervised Teaching Practice, was developed in two schools, The Basic School 2,3 of Terrugem and Secondary School Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho. This project took place in the context of the Master’s Degree in Teaching History 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education. The central theme was propaganda, in the context of the totalitarian regimes at the 20th century Europe, understood as a form of social manipulation. The importance of this type of approach is, I believe, today more important than ever. The temporal distance that we live today from this totalitarian regimes of the first half of the century causes, with the youngest, some unfamiliarity and indifference towards the consequences that an abuse use of propaganda can bring. At the same time, the connection to the social networks and the way information circulates through them without any control, in a time of resurgence of exclusion, no acceptance and inferiorization and blame of the other theories, make me believe that would be essential the deepening of this theme, using real examples that would be the key to alert the future decision makers for the need not to forget the teaching of the past. During the Supervised Teaching Practice periods, there were multiple resources used by me: showing PowerPoint presentations, videos, images and, always and as much as I could, talking to students, listening and treasuring their opinions, understanding their ideas and promoting their self-esteem.
