As part of the Master's program in Museology and Museography at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, I chose to undertake an internship, believing it to be the most effective way to gain practical knowledge and integrate into a real work environment. I selected the Jeronimo’s Monastery and Belém Tower not only because of my existing professional connections with these institutions but also due to their significance as two of the most iconic monuments in the history of Portugal. To fulfill the requirements for my master’s degree, I present this internship report, which is structured around three key areas: Heritage Management, Conservation, and Musealization. In each of these areas, I will address theoretical issues, enriched by the practical experience I gained and the observations I made while working with the monument teams.
