A hipótese da mobilidade internacional de factores não é normalmente
considerada nas teorias explicativas do comercio internacional. Neste texto vamos, inicialmente, explicar porque deve ser admitida tal hipótese. Seguidamente, vamos apresentar os diversos contributos sobre a relação que se estabelece entre mobilidade factorial e comércio internacional. Depois vamos centrar-nos no caso particular da mobilidade internacional do factor capital e, por fim, expomos as teorias do comércio internacional que
procuram explicar a actividade das empresas multinacionais, que são um elemento determinante da mobilidade internacional do factor capital.
The hypothesis of international factor mobility is not usually considered in the international trade theory. In this essay we start by explaining why that hypothesis should be considered. Next we present the different contributions about the relationship between capital international mobility and international trade. After this we focus on the particular case of the capital mobility and, finally we describe the international trade theories which try to explain de multinational enterprises activity, who are a determinant element of the international capital mobility.
