This document aims to demonstrate the work that was developed during the second year of the Informatics Engineering MSc.
The aim of this training course is to focus mainly on integration, modeling and implementing business processes in a real context of an organization: the registration of devices.
All this modeling and implementation process will be carried out on the webMethods platform, a proprietary tool company Software AG.
In technical terms are identified some requirements essential to the development of this stage: Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA); WebMethods Composite Application Framework CAF) - the presentation layer available in the form of portlets running on My webMethods Server;
Web Services.
The main objectives of this stage show:
Carry out a survey of business functional areas of an organization; Modeling business processes in the modeling tool WebMethods platform;
Make a blueprint of the physical model and the services that each step of the process requires for its proper implementation;
Implementation of processes and their services;
Run the test cases defined for functional validation and acceptance testing of the application.
