The Horizon 2020 Programe aims to strengthen the position of the main leadership of the European Union (EU), in matters such as Science, Innovation and Research. This program will cover the period from 2014 to 2020, and will have some new features compared to previous funding programs, the most important and expected - simplification.
Simplification of participation rules, simplification regarding the bureaucracy, simplification of an entire project that is primarily designed to integrate our European researchers, making them return and supporting their ideas.
In particular, the H2020 covers issues of agriculture and food security in two of their three pillars, promoting an improvement the competitiveness in European industry and construction for the EU achieve excellence. This new funding program was designed to cover the entire innovation cycle, from the embryo to their marketing, with particular attention to small and medium enterprises, which are vital for strengthening European competitiveness.
This can be a starting point for small and medium nterprisess to grow, based on innovative ideas, enterprising, and program funding framework that will facilitate large-scale capital injection.
