A Medicina Dentária em equinos de desporto é ainda uma área com pouca expressão em Portugal, apesar da grande relevancia que representa para a saúde e bem-estar do cavalo, influenciando tanto a condição corporal como a performance desportiva do animal. Esta dissertação tem como objectivo avaliar o aparecimento destes problemas em cavalos de desporto, bem como discutir o respetivo diagnóstico e tratamento.
