Nesta última década tem havido uma crescente demanda pelo ensino do português por
parte de trabalhadores chineses, quer pelos que vão trabalhar em Portugal, quer pelos
que já lá estão, formando, ambos, um público bem delimitado nas suas necessidades e
anseios. São, por isso, necessários mais e melhores materiais de ensino relacionados
com o mundo empresarial e dos negócios. Estes documentos de ensino, porém, não se
devem limitar a uma dimensão que os caracteriza na sua base, a de um ensino para
fins específicos, já que a comunidade chinesa, no momento em que realiza a sua
aprendizagem de língua, precisa de adquirir, também, as valências necessárias à sua
inserção na sociedade portuguesa.
Esta dissertação pretende ser um contributo para uma melhor compreensão das
necessidades linguísticas da comunidade visada, pelo que, no seu âmbito, se realiza
um inquérito com o objetivo de caracterizar as principais dimensões do referido
público.
Partindo de uma visão genológica do ensino-aprendizagem, são propostos para análise
vários textos tipo suscetíveis de integrarem um manual de ensino de língua (PLE),
para fins específicos, em que se dá conta do contexto (de integração) em que o
público-alvo está envolvido.
ABSTRACT: In the last decade there has been an increasing demand for portuguese language skills by the common chinese workers : by those who,beeing in China, seek future work opurtunies in Portugal as well as by those already established in the country. This well defined public shares the same needs and wants regarding its common aspirations, therefore a higher inclusion of business related learning materials is a must. However due to the learning nature of this group, such learning materials should adapt to their condition, meaning these materias should not only introduce students to the business topic (special purpuses) but also support a proper understanding of portuguese culture and values to facilitate integration. This paper aims for a better comprehension of the linguistic needs of this comunity. A survey was made with the objective of defining the main dimensions of this group. From a generic perspective of the learning-teaching process, various text-types likely to integrate a set of learning materials (PLE), are proposed for analysis. This text-types are scrutinized based not only on its special purposes but also on the integration context (where the target group is implied).
