Dar a conhecer a história e o património da ADIPA, Associação dedicada à defesa dos interesses e dos direitos dos distribuidores de produtos alimentares e afins, é o propósito deste livro que assim se junta às comemorações dos seus 50 anos de existência. Durante este meio século, a ADIPA ultrapassou dificuldades, ganhou desafios e afirmou-se como representante das empresas grossistas, e mais recentemente retalhistas, que se dedicam à comercialização de produtos alimentares. Articulando a dinâmica interna da sua estrutura associativa com os diversos contextos económicos e institucionais que o país conheceu, foi estabelecida uma periodização da história da ADIPA que baliza e caracteriza as etapas do seu percurso histórico.
Sharing the history and heritage of ADIPA, an association dedicated to defending the interests and rights of food and related product distributors, is the purpose of this book, which thus joins the celebration of its 50th anniversary. Over the past half-century, ADIPA has overcome challenges, embraced opportunities, and established itself as a representative of wholesale—and more recently, retail—businesses engaged in the trade of food products. By aligning the internal dynamics of its associative structure with the various economic and institutional contexts the country has experienced, a periodization of ADIPA’s history was established to define and characterize the stages of its historical development.
