Inhabiting the natural through the artistic experience emerges as a line of force in this theoretical-practical study, in which the meaning of this inhabiting, the wanderings in natural places and the use of local natural materials in the painting process will be reflected, giving body to the final works presented. In an introductory and expository way, this study will focus on a mutual and transcurrent inhabitation of Art History, in which art inhabits nature and nature the core of the artist, focusing on his work. In this sense, works from different eras that emerge from this inhabitation will be commented here, as well as contemporary authors and their creative processes that will constitute the object of reflection that will allow me, later, to deepen my experience of painting and generated works. In this sense, after an exposition of the initial questions - what is this inhabiting? And how does this happen through art? -, the various phases arising from this authorial path will be deepened here, towards an inhabitation of nature through artistic experience, of which the following phases are understood: 1- the initial impetus to be in natural places; 2 - natural nature in painting as a means of thinking about interiority as an author; 3 - derived from the constant experience of both phases, an entry into the primordial nature of painting that reflects the authorial character and the natural nature experienced. Nature as inspiration and as a vehicle for the author's manifestation will be two ideas that flow through this reflection as a whole, having a plastic concretion through a painting experience - a consequence of this inhabitation - which will later be explained and meditated.
