ABSTRACT: The exponential growth in the volume of data in the post-industrial age stimulates increasingly complex social, cultural, and economic systems. The demand for experience in contemporaneity drives new innovation practices that transcend the consumption and production of goods. The present investigation is built upon possible interventions in the manufacturing and entrepreneurial spheres, from the perspective of Design. In this sense, the footwear sector was chosen as the object of study due to its national and international expressiveness, and above all, to its high competitiveness and incessant search for innovation. From the Participative Design methodology, we aimed at a collaborative panorama as a strategy for the sector's expansion, due to the autonomy of its public. The intention was to understand how the insertion of users in the processes could contribute to the footwear sector and how the designer could act in this scenario. Through a literature review, case studies, and interviews with specialists, the designer's point of view was supported as a technological facilitator and process intermediator. The adoption of this scope allowed the creation of a toolkit that aims to contribute to the instruction and implementation of participative Design approaches, as well as the recruitment and networking on the subject through a digital platform. With this proposal, we intend to systematize values understood among designers, companies and their respective publics.
