A arguição da tese de doutoramento procurou realçar, no tempo disponível, aspectos menos e mais bem conseguidos da obra. Concluiu pela excelência global da investigação, plenamente justificante da aprovação com a nota mais elevada. Entre os primeiros, essencialmente aspectos formais. Entre os segundos, entre outros, aspectos como a petição de Eudémone ao imperador Antonino, observações em torno da lex rhodia e do Nomos Rhodiwn Nautikos, questões ligadas ao pensamento decalístrato e sabino sobre o tema, o relacionamento processual com a locatio conductio e aexcusatio necessitatis e aspectos relacionados com o direito romano dos naufrágios e outros direitos antigos.
The discussion of the Phd thesis sought to highlight, in the available time, less and better achieved aspects of the work. The conclusion pointed to the excellence of the research, fully justifying the approval with the highest grade. among the first, essentially formal aspects. Among the latter, aspects such as eudemon’s petition to the emperor antoninus, observations on the lex rhodia and the Nomos Rhodiwn Nautikos, issues related to the thought of callistratus and sabinus on the subject, the procedural relationship with the locatio conductio and the excusatio necessitatis and aspects related to shipwreck Roman law and other antiquity laws
