Em um cenário de deslocamento urbano, onde o protagonista é o automóvel, aqueles inaptos a conduzir encontram-se obrigados a depender de condutores ou utilizar o transporte público, sequer projetado para eles. Desconfortáveis, poluentes e sem acessibilidade, as alternativas de transporte público não incluem as pessoas com mobilidade reduzida no convívio da sociedade.
A presente investigação tem como principal objetivo, favorecer o desenvolvimento de um veículo que ofereça autonomia e conforto às pessoas com dificuldades de locomoção, respeitando as condições de sustentabilidade e avanço tecnológico, previstas ao futuro da mobilidade urbana.
O enfoque da investigação está direcionado a interligar os transportes públicos à infraestrutura urbana, sob a ótica do design universal.
Ao fim desta investigação é apresentada uma solução fundamentada capaz de atender as principais expectativas da população com mobilidade reduzida, além de incentivar o desenvolvimento de soluções que visem parcelas minoritárias da população.
In an urban displacement scenario, where the protagonist is the car, those unable to drive are forced to depend on drivers or use public transport, even designing for them. Uncomfortable, polluting and without accessibility, as public transport alternatives do not include people with reduced mobility in society. The present investigation has as main objective, to favor the development of a vehicle that has autonomy and comfort for people with locomotion difficulties, respecting the conditions of sustaina¬bility and technological advance, controlled to the future of urban mobility. The research approach is aimed at connecting public transport to urban infrastructure, from the perspective of universal design. At the end of this investigation, a fundamental solution is presented capable of meeting the main expectations of the population with reduced mobility, in addition to encouraging the development of solutions aimed at minority portions of the population.
