Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação foi desenvolvida com o objetivo de estudar e projetar a instalação de um pomar de pereiras São Bartolomeu na freguesia de Torroselo, concelho de Seia, para produção de Pera Passa e avaliar a sua viabilidade económica.
Para o desenvolvimento do projeto a implementar numa área com cerca de 1,6 ha, estudou-se a região ao nível das principais componentes socioeconómicas, e realizou-se uma análise das condições climáticas, de modo a conhecer o potencial da região para a produção agrícola. Ao nível da exploração foram avaliadas as suas características edáficas. Estabeleceu-se contato com produtores de forma a conhecer e avaliar o modo de produção adotado atualmente, e compreender de que modo é feita a transformação.
No decorrer do projeto, é desenvolvido o plano de exploração, no qual são propostas diversas soluções para a instalação do pomar nas condições existentes, abordando-se fertilizações, compasso de plantação, sistema de condução, porta-enxerto e sistema de rega. São também definidas as características do processo de transformação do produto.
Através dos resultados obtidos na análise financeira, antes e após financiamento, confirma-se que este é um projeto que apresenta rendibilidade e viabilidade económica. Prevê-se um VAL de 410 044,6 €, no fim da vida útil do projeto, antes do financiamento, e de 416 947,6 €, após o financiamento.
Este é um projeto que permite a valorização da produção tradicional e nacional, que prevê manter a qualidade e características de um produto ímpar, a Pera Passa, adaptando a sua produção para uma melhor otimização de recursos.
The present work was developed with the objective of studying and projecting the installation of a “São Bartolomeu” pear orchard, in the parish of Torroselo, municipality of Seia, to produce “Pera Passa”, and to evaluate its economic viability. For the development of the project to be implemented in an area of about 1,6 ha, the region was studied at the level of the main socioeconomic components, and an analysis of the climatic conditions was carried out, to assess the potential of the region for agricultural production. At the farm level, its edaphic characteristics were evaluated. Contact was established with producers, in order to learn and evaluate the production mode currently adopted, and to understand how the transformation is carried out. During the project, the exploration plan is developed, with several solutions being proposed for the installation of the orchard in the existing conditions, addressing fertilization, planting layout, training system, rootstock and irrigation system. The characteristics of the product transformation process are also defined. Through the results obtained in the financial analysis, before and after financing, it is confirmed that this is a project that presents profitability and economic viability. A LAV of 410 044,6 € is expected at the end of the project’s useful life, before financing, and 416 947,6 €, after financing.
