Abstract(s)

By instigating the jury of critics recognized to clarify the criteria adopted to accept the pork sent by him to the IV Hall of Contemporary Art of Brasília (DF), in 1967, the paulista Nelson Leirner became known for irreverence and critical thinking. Dialoguing with the concept of readymade and objet-trouvé, would take ownership of industrialized banal objects, plaster or plastic, acquired the popular trade, formatting unusual works with which mocks the exploration of faith, alienation of football, political ills and turn on show the social rituals, as occurs in installation: “ Dressed in white,”in which articulates a parodic narrative about a wedding make- account, the main object of this text
