This article discusses the work “Bordadora” (“Embroider”) by the Mexican artist Tania Candiani taking the analogy between the construction of a text and the construction of a fabric as a starting point, in order to provide a new perspective, based on the transdisciplinarity of concepts in Humanities, which helps to understand the poetics of contemporary textile art
