Carlos Alberto Negrini is a Brazilian performance artist who uses his declared homosexual identity to operate a suggestive militancy about gender — making the body a battlefield. The artist has designed disconcerting performances, full of scenic displays, with photographic way. Thus, he also conceived the series Madonnas — here in this study named Le Madonne. In the series, he seeks the partnership of trans women who served as models for the contemporary configuration of a classic theme
