Resumo(s)
Starting from the fact that the Portuguese museum panorama lacks a framework of exhibition - narrative – which is portrayed as an entirely fictional story; and stemming from the idea that, provided certain principles are observed, the decontextualization of exhibited objects and their recontextualization as part of a story is a museum resource which is as valid as any other, this work seeks to embody this meta-narrative: a literary piece as a museum narrative. It starts with a Prehistoric Archaeology collection from the Museum of the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology - the selected pieces are transmuted into the protagonists of a story. The collection in question comprises articles of megalithic burial furniture, mostly ritual and votive in character. On this basis, the Sacred was chosen as the theme to be illustrated, having an eminently anthropological, a-geographical and timeless dimension. Finally we conclude with the presumption that this proposal may be constituted, not only as an alternative to the necessary scientific approach, but as a complement in the museum context, an additional resource, in museums of archaeology and related sciences and with a view to a heterogeneous public
