A análise permitiu ainda evidenciar o papel crucial do tempo em trajetórias resilientes, o qual emergiu associado a diversas significações: caminho, intemporalidade, finitude, irreversibilidade, memórias e transformação.
The present study, conceptually based on a systemic perspective of resilience, was intended to deepen the scientific knowledge about resilience, through the perception of the indicators of resilient trajectories after the loss of a significant figure by death. The study was based on the analysis of 21 interviews, from the television program Alta Definição, applied to individuals who express global satisfaction with life and who present high social and/or professional recognition and success. Based on a qualitative methodology, the interviews were treated through a thematic analysis using the NVIVO11 software. Therefore, considering the interviewers’ narrative analysis, it was possible to access their meanings about death, personal beliefs associated with it, resources, positive coping strategies, vulnerabilities and impact of the loss. The results make clear that: the contribution of beliefs and the perception of loss to the activation of adaptive coping strategies in the process of mourning, particularly, spiritual, cognitive and emotional; the relevant role of resources, in particular the relationship in the past with the loss figure and individual resources; and the contribution of the interactivity of these factors to a positive impact associated with individual growth. The analysis also revealed the crucial role of time in resilient trajectories, which emerged associated with several meanings: path, timelessness, finitude, irreversibility, memories and transformation.
