O presente relatório pretende descrever e refletir sobre a atividade docente desenvolvida ao longo da minha carreira profissional, que teve início no ano letivo de 2006/2007, após a conclusão da Licenciatura em Professores do Ensino do 2º e 3º ciclos, variante EF. Trata-se de um trabalho fundamentalmente reflexivo com vista à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ensino da EF nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário.
Considerando o desenvolvimento e enriquecimento da formação pessoal e profissional que tenho adquirido, especialmente no estrangeiro, nomeadamente em Inglaterra e agora em Espanha, senti a necessidade de ampliar e consolidar os meus conhecimentos através deste relatório reflexivo para a obtenção deste mestrado.
Neste seguimento, desenvolvi esta descrição e análise a partir da análise do valor educativo do 2º e 3 º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Secundário. Perante esta intenção, na organização deste trabalho, dou destaque à minha passagem pelas escolas onde lecionei no 3 º Ciclo do Ensino Básico em Espanha e em Inglaterra. Assim, através de uma fundamentação teórica, foi possível apresentar a experiência vivenciada, distinguindo a identidade profissional, o conhecimento adquirido, as práticas letivas implementadas e vivências, incluindo as dificuldades encontradas no período escolar entre 2016/21.
Portanto, é de salientar que todo o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito do 3º Ciclo foi de grande pertinência, destacando-se os anos letivos de 2016/21, porque tive a oportunidade de trabalhar em Espanha em dois Colégios Bilíngues. A oportunidade de lecionar e experienciar diferentes realidades em várias escolas em dois países diferentes com realidades culturais bastante diversificadas, contribuíram para o meu crescimento e conhecimento profissional, levando-me a não me acomodar e a adaptar-me às novas exigências.
Desta forma, através da realização deste trabalho, tive a oportunidade de questionar, analisar e refletir sobre as minhas práticas docentes, tirando ilações positivas, mas com a noção que nem sempre foi fácil.
This report documents my teaching activity, built-up throughout my professional career that began in the 2006/2007 school year, following the conclusion of my undergraduate course BA (Hons) in Physical Education. This work is presented in consideration for the Master's Degree (MA) in Physical Education. Considering the progress and enrichment of personal and professional skills that I have acquired, primarily abroad in England and later in Spain, I felt that it was necessary to expand and solidify my knowledge through this reflective report in order to obtain this Master Degree. Hence, a reflection and analysis from my undertaken school experience both in UK and Spain has been unfilled with great emphasis throughout the schools where I taught the Secondary curriculum in (the above stated countries) or (in the countries mentioned previously). Therefore, using a theoretical foundation, I will reflect on my work experience, skills enhancement, differentiate professional identity, and acknowledge new teaching practices with consideration to their implementation in the school years 2016/21. Finally, I will also include reflection with respect to the difficulties that I have encountered. The work I have developed in the academic years 2016-21 in Secondary curriculum in Spain will be especially relevant. In particular, as a result of my previous experience, I have further had the opportunity to work in two Bilingual Schools in Spain. The opportunity to teach and to experience different settings in several schools and two different countries with dissimilar cultural habits, has undeniably improved my professional background, knowledge, experience and expertise. It further demonstrates that I am capable of adapting to different ways of living and routines, and can learn and improve quickly in order to meet new requirements within my profession, overcoming any obstacles that emerge. Thus, through this work, I had the opportunity to enquire, analyze and reflect on my teaching practice, taking positive outcomes, but with the perception that it was not always easy.
