São notáveis as mudanças acontecidas no campo científico internacional durante as últimas décadas, as quais se traduzem no seu alargamento e intensificação – designadamente pela conversão das carreiras no âmbito das investigação num percurso mais estandardizado e imperativamente internacional – e pela introdução de critérios considerados «objetiváveis» que permitam uma medição do trabalho científico desenvolvido e o grau de impacto alcançado. As revistas científicas surgem como fator relevante no que concerne às reestruturações encontradas neste âmbito. O surgimento de diversos sistemas de classificação que organizam as revistas científicas segundo um determinado grau de qualidade ou impacto consubstanciam-se como estruturantes da produção científica atual, tornando-se cada vez mais referenciais no que respeita à avaliação dos percursos e processos associados à investigação. Neste sentido, é nosso propósito aqui contribuir para a compreensão das mudanças operadas a este nível, procurando realizar um mapeamento da situação das revistas científicas das áreas das humanidades e ciências sociais ligadas ao espaço científico lusófono e avaliar a incorporação dos parâmetros de cientificidade fixados internacionalmente, assim como a sua classificação em diversos índices de impacto.
The changes that have took place in the international scientific field over the past decades are remarkable; they translate its expansion and intensification - including the conversion of research’s careers in a more standardized and mandatory international route - and the introduction of criteria considered “objectable” that enable reach to measurement of scientific work and to the degree of impact achieved. The scientific journals emerge as a relevant factor in the restructuration of this area. The emergence of various classification systems that organize scientific journals according to a certain degree of quality or impact are embodied as structuring of current scientific production, and they have become in an increasingly benchmarks regarding the evaluation of pathways and processes associated with the research. In this sense, it is our purpose here to contribute to the understanding the changes at this level, seeking to map the situation of scientific journals in the humanities and social sciences related to the Lusophone scientific space and evaluate the implementation at the international level of the scientific parameters set, as well as its ranking in various levels of impact.
