A observação e a análise do jogo constituem uma função cada vez mais imprescindível no dia-a-dia de um treinador, sendo que as informações obtidas através destas são preponderantes, quer em contexto de treino, quer em competição. Para um bom desenvolvimento desta função, recorreu-se a uma revisão da literatura na qual o ponto de partida baseia-se na forma como o jogo de futebol se desenvolve, as suas caraterísticas e os constrangimentos associados. Partindo deste pressuposto, desenvolveu-se uma contextualização da forma como a observação e a análise do jogo vieram auxiliar os diversos intervenientes do jogo, tanto para otimizar o rendimento dos jogadores e das equipas, de modo a superarem os adversários, como para recrutar jogadores (talentosos) para os clubes. Assim, a operacionalização de múltiplas tarefas, a partir da utilização de várias ferramentas, softwares, modelos estruturados e documentos de apoio permite sustentar o contexto de treino e competição. O estudo de investigação desenvolvido neste relatório, possibilita o incremento de informação no âmbito da observação e da análise do jogo, nomeadamente no futebol de formação, através da utilização da metodologia das networks. Tendo em conta a importância dada ao tema principal deste relatório, importa destacar a sua influência no processo de treino. Como tal, a discussão desta temática por diferentes intervenientes, estendendo-se à comunidade desportiva, é fundamental para se conhecer diferentes perspetivas e formas de utilizar diversas informações no treino e, consequentemente, no jogo.
The match observation and analysis represents an increasingly indispensable function during the daily life of a coach, whereby the information obtained through this method is preponderant, whether in a training context or in a competition. To assure an adequate development of this function a literature review was used, and its starting point is based on the development of the football match, its characteristics and the associated constraints. Starting with this assumption, the report developed a contextualization about the match observation and analysis, and how it can help the various parties involved, not only to optimize the performance of the players and teams, in order to overcome opponents, but also to recruit (talented) players for the clubs. Thus, the establishment of multiple tasks, using various tools, software products, structured models and supporting documents allows the training and competition context to be sustained. The research developed in this report increases and improves the information in the match observation and analysis context, namely in youth football, through the use of network methodology. Due to the importance attributed to the main theme of this report, it is crucial to highlight its influence on the training process. As such, the discussion of this topic with different people, extending to the sports community, is fundamental to discover different perspectives and new ways to use different information in training and, consequently, in the game.
