| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation examines the relationship between Governance, Education and Trust in Government using a sample of 41 countries for the period of 2006 to 2021. For this purpose, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and Fixed Effects (FE) models are estimated. The results suggest that there is a positive and significant relation between Governance and Trust in Government while there is a negative and significant relation between Education and Trust in Government. For the Upper-income countries the results are similar but for the Middle-income countries Education has a positive but not significant relation with Trust in Government. | pt_PT |
