The research project presented in this study, Bola ao Poste: Quotidiano suspenso pela experiência estética (Everyday suspended by the aesthetic experience), unfolds as na investigation of my artistic practice, through which I seek to transfigure the everyday and the ordinary into and object of aesthetic reflection. Through painting, as the primary medium of exploration, this work questions how the sensorial experience of everyday life can acquire new meanings, particularly within the cultural and artistic field, suspending its triviality in order to reveal hidden layers of meaning. The research is structured in two parts, with the studio as the space dividing them. Through theoretical, visual, and artistic references, the first part, My Creative Territory, explores the notions of encounter and gathering in everyday life as fertile ground for creativity and appropriation. Furthermore, it aims to understand how aesthetic experience can manifest itself in the mundane, by disrupting the neutral course of the everyday. The second part, The Artistic Project, focuses on creation and return, corresponding to the analysis of the practical work developed during the Master’s Degree in Painting, in the studio. This culminates in the exhibition project Bola ao Poste. My creative process is structured around four dialectical and interrelated stages: encounter, gathering, creation, and return. Rather than presenting themselves as linear phases, they constitute a continuous cycle of action and reflection. These stages are not self-contained: rather, they establish a symbiosis between thinking and doing, where every creative action or gesture is simultaneously an act of questioning and construction. It is within this ever-becoming territory, where painting develops not as a product but as a process, that the work takes shape.
