This is a disease with important repercussions on various organs and systems, with impact on health and quality of life. Among the various complications associated with diabetes are the complications on the nervous system. These are distinguished between Sensorimotor Neuropathy and Autonomic Neuropathy. Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy may affect the cardiovascular system, the gastrointestinal tract, the urogenital system and the sudomotor function. This work focus on the clinical aspects of the disease, focusing on the signs, symptoms and epidemiology of the various forms of Autonomic Neuropathy, as well as the methods of diagnosis and therapy.
