Resumo(s)
O presente trabalho é um estudo relacionado a espaços independentes de arte, criados
por artistas, produtores e curadores que tem como finalidade contribuir para que a sociedade
tenha outras formas de acesso e fruição da arte e cultura, para além do que é proposto em
organizações institucionais. Na primeira parte a dissertação está teoricamente fundamentada em
conceitos da sociologia e comunicação, como princípios básicos do indivíduo que necessita criar
estruturas para poder comunicar pontos de vista, seguidos de um breve histórico sobre o
surgimento dos espaços independentes na Europa e América, com foco em Portugal e Brasil. Na
segunda parte, a pesquisa está direcionada ao objeto de estudo, o Chão SLZ, desde o surgimento,
os processos curatoriais, as atividades desenvolvidas, as parcerias construídas, os recursos
humanos e financeiros, os modelos de gestão e as formas de comunicação, todo esse conteúdo é
permeado de entrevistas coletadas durante o processo da escrita e pela experiência da autora deste
trabalho, também coordenadora do espaço. Na terceira parte temos um panorama sobre São Luís,
o Bairro da Praia Grande - Centro Histórico, lugar onde o Chão se localiza e a importância de
espaços autônomos estarem presentes nestes territórios e de como antes do Chão a classe artística
de São Luís já desenhava iniciativas parecidas, para finalizar esse capítulo têm-se um recorte
sobre espaços independentes em Portugal a partir do Now Here e do Hangar, cada um com sua
forma de trabalho e especificidades, mas que agregam num todo para o desenvolvimento da arte
contemporânea em Lisboa.
This thesis is a unique and exclusive study of other arts created by artists, producers and curators to contribute to a society that has access to art and culture offered in institutional organizations. The dissertation part focuses on concepts of sociology and, as the principles of each, to create structures to be able to communicate in a basic way, followed by a story about the point of communication, the first theory of independent spaces in the construction of Portugal and Brazil. It is directed to the object of study, the Na SL, from the second part, acquired resources and elaborated processes, such as partnerships, human and financial studies, communication models, all models used This content is permeated by interviews during the process of writing and the experience of the author of this work, also coordinator of the space. In the third part, an overview of São Luís, the Bairro da Praia Grande - Centro, a place where the historical Chão is present and how, before Chão, the artistic class of São Luís was already drawing aparecidas, to the end of this chapter there is a space about independents in Portugal from the Now Here and Hangar intersect, each with their contemporary form of work and specificities, but that adds a whole to the development of art in Lisbon.
