This work firstly presents a detailed description of the Convent of Saint Francis, a house where the collections of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL) reside, containing works of great heritage, cultural and educational value. FBAUL is the guardian of a precious cultural and artistic heritage that has been preserved since the creation of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. With the increase in the number of students and the lack of awareness of the protection of works, pathologies associated with disrespect, negligence, vandalism and space limitations emerge over time. The FBAUL Plaster Reserve is a place of memory and knowledge, and houses examples from periods of cultural and heritage history. It contains adventures, stories and styles from other times. The physical nature of the sculptures, in plaster, fragile and defenseless, requires a multidisciplinary study to be essential, without forgetting the connection between the reserve and the building that houses it – the Convent of Saint Francis of the City. In the third phase of the project, the various issues to be taken into account when dealing with a project of this magnitude are presented, which, if carried out, will involve entities from different areas, from conservation to engineering, including public emergency services. There is also an analysis of the risk of the building in the event of a catastrophe. Here questions are raised such as risk analysis and its management, magnitude of the risk and the completed completion of the Re-ORG questionnaire, with some proposed solutions. An emergency plan must reflect the statistics and resources that existed at the time of its preparation. However, being fully aware that these change over time, it is necessary for this document to be reviewed and updated on a regular basis, so that it is always functional
