No primeiro trimestre de 1996, cumpriram-se vinte anos sobre a publicação do primeiro número da revista Heródote. Independentemente do lado da leitura em que nos colocarmos, é elementar reconhecer que este projecto tem o mérito de ter resgatado para o convívio da disciplina geográfica o nome ensombrado da geopolítica.
In the first quarter of 1996, twenty years have passed since the publication of the first issue of the journal Heródote.
