dc.description.abstractEste estudo visa analisar o quadro de proteção jurídica que se tem vindo a criar, de modo a tentar preservar e incentivar as comunidades regionais que desenvolvem trabalhos manuais ligados a artesanato. Muitos artefactos, como sejam peças de cerâmica ou rendas feitas à mão são manifestação cultural de tradições de certas zonas do país, com particularidades não suscetíveis de ser replicadas noutra zona. A preservação desses modos de elaboração de peças que têm valor cultural têm sido alvo de iniciativas camarárias que promovem mostras de artesanato e promovem concursos, para estimular camadas mais jovens da população a iniciar tais dinâmicas, de modo a não se perder o saber fazer que pode “morrer” com as pessoas mais idosas. Ao longo do presente estudo, propomo-nos analisar o impacto imediato destas medidas, e o seu enquadramento, aplicando ao caso da “Renda de Bilros” típica de Peniche, zona do Oeste na orla marítima nacional. Para tal serão analisadas entrevistas aos agentes intervenientes, quer a nível camarário e bordadeiras de Peniche, para avaliar a dinâmica da arte que promovem, o impacto económico na região e a manutenção da identidade cultural da região.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyse the framework of legal protection that has been created, in order to try to preserve and encourage regional communities that develop manual work related to crafts. Many artefacts, such as ceramics or handmade lace, are a cultural manifestation of traditions from certain areas of the country, with particularities that are not likely to be replicated in another area. The preservation of these ways of making pieces that have cultural value have been the target of city council initiatives that promote craft shows and competitions, to encourage younger sections of the population to initiate such dynamics, so as not to lose the know-how that can be done. “dying” with older people. Throughout the present study, we propose to analyse the immediate impact of these measures, and their framework, applying it to the case of “Bilros Lace” typical of Peniche, in the western part of the national seafront. To this end, interviews with intervening agents will be analysed, both at the municipal level and Peniche embroiderers, to assess the dynamics of the art they promote, the economic impact on the region and the maintenance of the region's cultural identity.pt_PT
