Abstract(s)
The project work we present, carried out to obtain a Master's degree in Museology and Museography, is a proposal for a temporary exhibition, which was designed to be exhibited at the National Museum of Ancient Art (MNAA). Through it, we will present a reinterpretation of the history of Chinese porcelain, from its origins to the last dynasty, proposing an approach that distances itself from the period of expansion of the portuguese discoveries, to which it is recurrently associated. In this way, we will make the culture of China known to the public, through its porcelain production, addressing topics that usually have little prominence in the expository discourse and whose deepening can contribute to a better understanding of the history and material ceramic culture of our country.
