| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho de investigação aborda a temática em volta da Guerra Fria Global e o início da Proxy War Angolana (1975-1980). Propõe-se com o mesmo, avaliar a influência da Guerra Fria Global para o início da Proxy War Angolana, isto, sobretudo no periodo imediatamente a seguir a independência, modificando a relação de forças na região austral de África. Para este efeito, efetuamos uma análise da África Austral no quadro da Guerra Fria Global, para posteriormente avaliarmos a influência desta última no início da Proxy War Angolana, colocando Angola, os atores internos bem como o posicionamento decisivo das duas superpotências que na época manipulavam a conjuntura política mundial, buscando na “periferia” mais aliados para o seu posicionamento em novas zonas de influência. Ainda sobre o início da Proxy War Angolana, vamos neste trabalho posicionar a participação dos chamados terceiros ou procuradores (proxies) como substitutos das duas grandes superpotências na luta por aliados, nomeadamente em Angola. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work addresses the theme around the Global Cold War and the beginning of the Angolan Proxy War (1975-1980). It intends to evaluate the influence of the Global Cold War to the beginning of the Angolan Proxy War, especially in the period immediately after the independence, by changing the relation of forces in the Southern Region of Africa. To do so, we carried out an analysis of Southern Africa within the framework of the Global Cold War, so as to evaluate the influence of the latter on the beginning of the Angolan Proxy War, placing Angola, the internal actors as well as the decisive positioning of the two superpowers that at the time were tinkering with the world political landscape, seeking in the "periphery" for more allies for their positioning in new zones of influence. Furthermore, in relation to the beginning of the Angolan Proxy War, we are going to focus on the participation of the socalled third parties or proxies as substitutes for the two great superpowers in the struggle for allies, particularly in Angola. | pt_PT |
