This paper deals with the relationship between a plastic technique –the collage- and the narrative, expressive, symbolic and metaphorical aspects of the image analyzed by means of de work of three students. This practice, in the production workshop of de Visual Arts Trade an Techniques chair (OTAV) at de National University of Arts (UNA), guides those who along with other experiences will be trained as teacher in the different levels of de Education System
