Resumo(s)
The following dissertation work concerning the children’s draw and illustration, two
ways of expression that nowadays follow and are an essential part of the children’s
development. It is important to study the status that the child has been acquiring in society since the XVII century and how the first steps to the creation of children’s books were important to a better growth in childhood. The evolution of children’s books leads us to the present and to the present way of communication between illustrators and children’s, between parents and sons. With this purpose we explored and analyzed the work of Katsumi Komagata, where he portrait some of the principles developed by the illustrator and designer of the XX century, Bruno Munari, through a work with a big methodology and childhood preoccupation. At last, we did a group of manual works in line with the current investigation
