This text refers the design of the subject Arts and Physical Education, integrated on masters degree in Teaching for 1st and 2nd Cycle of Basic Education (variants of Portuguese, History and Geography of Portugal / Mathematics and Natural Sciences). We present and discuss theoretical and methodological assumptions that allowed us to structure and develop a set of creative practices in the areas of visual arts, physical education, music and drama with students/ future teachers of basic education
