entrevistas a professores, pais e supervisores
This research is the result of a comprehensive research on the relationship between architecture and pedagogical practice, mainly of non-traditional methodologies. For a better understating of the methodology used for this research paper, we started with a brief introduction about the concept and some examples of methodologies considered innovative, elucidating how each method mentioned relates to architecture. Then, the history of school buildings is discussed, as well as the importance of various architectural elements for the users of the spaces. And finally, the relationship between the institutions supervisors and school architecture. Two educational institutions were investigated for the case study, aiming to highlight the relationship between the space and its users' experience. The data was collected based on the inspection of the two selected schools above mentioned, in addition to interviews with teachers, parents and supervisors. The work showed that there is a need to increase discussion and reflection on the importance of architectural design in educational institutions, mainly a participative project with the space users and the local community. The literature review, interviews and visits carried out throughout the research, also emphasized the importance of supervision of the well-being of students and educators, alluding to architecture as the satisfaction of supervisees often comes from the conditions and sensations experienced on the day to day.
