This paper aims to build a specific reading about two visual settings that the artist Sandro Novaes prepared for a solo exhibition at the Museum of Fine Art of Espírito Santo, MAES, in Vitoria, Brazil. The method of approach that we have chosen for this purpose is centered on an interpretative approach, subject to the exclusive way of the author’s reception, directing it in this way, for a distancing of the artistic and historical jurisprudences, as an exclusive principle
