estimulando a colaboração e a criatividade.
This report presents the experience of initiating professional practice in the Master's in Geography Teaching, focusing on a 10th-grade class at Miguel Torga Secondary School. The theme explored was “Solar Radiation,” highlighting its importance in Portugal, both in the use of solar energy and in tourism enhancement, with a focus on the production of videos made by students and published on the Padlet platform. The guiding question for this practice was: “How can the study of Geography relate Tourism to the study of solar radiation?” In this teaching sequence, various educational strategies were employed, especially those involving digital technologies such as educational videos and interactive applications, to promote meaningful learning and greater interaction among students. The production of videos, present in all lessons, fostered active research and reflection on the topics covered and allowed for constant feedback, an essential aspect for identifying difficulties and adjusting teaching strategies to meet the needs of the students. Thus, students were involved in creating educational content, stimulating collaboration and creativity. These activities helped consolidate knowledge and prepare for assessment moments. The use of Padlet as a central tool facilitated the sharing and viewing of videos, contributing to a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Regarding assessment, students demonstrated a solid understanding of the theme of solar radiation and its importance in the geographical and environmental context. The supervised teaching practice highlighted the effectiveness of using a variety of educational resources that incorporate digital technologies, promoting a more practical approach to Geography teaching, tailored to the characteristics and interests of the students, allowing them to develop critical and reflective skills.
