Olhar da água surge num pretexto de investigação de um pensamento imaginário sobre a matéria da natureza e da água. Evocando uma perspética única e poética da água. A perceção de um limite proporcionado pelo tempo e pela natureza, gera uma necessidade de um novo pensar sobre a arquitetura num futuro. É necessário explorar a arquitetura e a sua relação com a natureza e água, trazendo uma nova perspetiva sobre o fundo do mar. Estabelecendo assim, uma relação entre o limite físico do mar e toda a sua dimensão imaginária do espaço. Um imaginário voltado para o real. Assim, o presente projeto, advém de um imaginário do futuro, onde a Serra da Arrábida é protagonista dos seus devaneios. Uma realidade contaminada pelo Homem. O observatório dá lugar aos olhares infinitos da natureza que transparecem em nós. Através do observar, há um revelar das dimensões infinitas do lugar juntamente com o olhar delas. Assim, o observatório tem a capacidade de refletir e enfatizar a importância da natureza, do mar e da vida marinha, tornando-se ele próprio catalisador da vida marinha. Encontrando forma na natureza. Nasce uma necessidade de inovar o presente, uma vontade de imaginar o futuro.
Look of The Water emerges in a pretext to investigate an imaginary thought about the matter of nature and water. Evoking a unique and poetic perspective of water. The perception of a limit provided by time and nature, generates a need for a new thinking about architecture in the future. It is necessary to explore architecture and its relationship with nature and water, bringing a new perspective on the deep sea. Establishing in this way, a relation between the physical limit of the sea and all its imaginary dimensions of space. An imaginary turned to the real. Therefore, the present project comes from an imaginary of the future, where Serra da Arrábida is the protagonist of its dreams. A reality contaminated by man. The observatory gives place to the infinite glances of nature that transpire in us. Through observing, there is a revealing of the endless dimensions of the place along with their glaze. In this way, the observatory has the ability to reflect and emphasize the importance of nature, the sea, and the marine life, becoming itself a marine life catalyst. Finding form in nature. A need to innovate the present is born, a will to imagine the future.
