Este projeto aborda a renaturalização e a devolução à natureza daquilo que ocupámos forçosamente. Do ponto de vista do autor, o maior problema deste vale está na ausência do curso de água original e na falta de um planeamento preciso e abrangente numa área tão agradável. Todas as infraestruturas revelam uma falta de regras e regulamentação, desordenados e cruzados. O plano rodoviário precede o primeiro sistema de drenagem da cidade fazendo com que a linha de água original gradualmente secasse e desaparecesse. De acordo com registos históricos, Alcântara era o maior vale de drenagem de águas pluviais de Lisboa. Neste caso, o autor tenciona retorná-la à origem, tem em vista o Vale de Alcântara como uma conjugação de agricultura, recursos naturais e habitação.
Devido às particularidades da sua geografia e diversidade dos recursos naturais, com base na exploração e utilização de recursos naturais na filosofia de arquitetura asiática e foco na unidade entre natureza e o Homem, o autor espera combinar as seguintes vantagens:

• As ideias essenciais de harmonia e proporção da filosofia oriental
• Respeito pelo estilo arquitetónico português nativo
• Requisitos da arquitetura e hábitos culturais locais
Estas vantagens permitem ao autor maximizar o benefício geográfico de Alcântara de modo que todo o design integre esta zona.
Dado o disposto acima, o autor propõe um projeto harmonioso para o Vale de Alcântara, ligando outras culturas e contribuindo mais para esta zona.
This project is about re-naturalization and returning what we forcibly occupy from nature. In the author's view, the biggest problem with this valley is the absence of the original river and missing precise and large-scale regional planning in such a pleasant area. All infrastructures reveal a lack of rules and regulations, disordered, crisscrossed. The traffic plan supersedes the earliest city drainage, making its original waterline gradually disappear and dry up. According to historical records, Alcântara was Lisbon's largest rainwater drainage valley. In this case, the author intends to return it to its homeland, seeing Vale de Alcântara as agriculture, natural resources, and housing conjugation. Due to the particularity of its geography and the diversity of natural resources, based on the exploration and utilization of natural resources in Asian architectural philosophy and the emphasis on the unity of nature and man, the author hopes to combine the advantages of the following: • Alcântara's main characteristics • the essential ideas of Harmony and proportion in oriental philosophy • respecting the native Portuguese architectural style • the basis of architectural requirements and the local cultural customs All these advantages would allow the author to maximize the geographical benefit of Alcântara so that the entire design integrates this area. Given the above, the author proposes a new harmonious project for the Vale de Alcântara, connecting with other cultures and further contributing to this area.
