Esta dissertação visa editar um conjunto de 76 peças de correspondência inédita do autor Luiz Pacheco (1925-2008), hoje presente no Arquivo de Cultura Portuguesa Contemporânea (ACPC) da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP), endereçadas a Luís Amaro (1923 – ), entre os anos de 1957-2002. Precede-se a edição de uma introdução que pretendeu reunir modos de pensar a edição de correspondência, assim como as práticas que desses decorrem, tendo-se depois procurado descortinar as estratégias e tácticas (Castro e Ramos, 1986) de alguns editores de correspondência em Portugal, e da tradição editorial da correspondência de Luiz Pacheco, em particular. A edição é seguida por notas finais, que procuram contextualizar as missivas, tendo-se incluído informações sobre indivíduos, obras, projectos, editoras, instituições e episódios mencionados nas cartas.
This dissertation aims at editing a set of 76 pieces of unpublished correspondence of the author Luiz Pacheco (1925-2008), archived in the Arquivo de Cultura Portuguesa Contemporânea (ACPC) of the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP) and addressed to Luís Amaro (1923 -), between the years of 1957-2002. It includes an introduction that intends to gather modes of thinking the edition of correspondence, as well as the practices that follow them. It then attempts to uncover the strategies and tactics (Castro and Ramos, 1986) of some correspondence editors in Portugal, as well as the editorial tradition of the correspondence of Luiz Pacheco, in particular. The edition is followed by final notes, which seek to contextualize the missives, having included information about individuals, works, projects, publishers, institutions and episodes mentioned in the letters.
