A total of 922 answers were analyzed from international clothing retail company workers in Portugal. In this study the results showed that the CTF is negatively related to the General Well-Being, and the first research hypothesis was corroborated. It was also analyzed the Motivation as a moderator variable in the relation between WFC and General Well-Being and the result was not significant. The results contribute to the literature by allowing a better understanding of the role of motivation in current organizational context, and its relationship with variables such as WFC and General Well-being of employees, using the job demands and resources model as a framework(JD-R) and Self-determination theory. Some pratical implications, limitations and suggestions for future studies are demonstrated.
