Este projeto/trabalho pretende analisar os comportamentos discursivos no tratamento jornalístico de dois casos – “Caso Maddie” e “Caso Rui Pedro” no Correio da Manhã e no Jornal de Notícias.
Tendo como base teórica a Linguística Sistémico-Funcional e como principal ferramenta deste trabalho A Teoria da Avaliatividade (Martin e White,2005) procurei dar conta das escolhas linguísticas usadas pelos falantes/escritores, perceber o posicionamento ao nível das atitudes que usam quando pretendem comunicar, interpretar os recursos linguísticos disponíveis na língua e descrever o comprometimento do escritor, tanto com o texto como com o leitor.
Através da constituição de um corpus da produção em ambos os diários e de uma análise qualitativa e quantitativa do mesmo, tendo como pano de fundo os subsistemas da Teoria da Avaliatividade – a forma como quebram o código deontológico para deixar transparecer as categorias como Atitude (Afeto, Julgamento e Apreciação) Comprometimento e Graduação.
Foi ainda possível determinar que tipo de manifestações interpessoais ocorrem em ambos os diários para que tal estudo contribua para ajudar os alunos falantes de PLE a melhor compreenderem e analisarem este tipo de textos, nomeadamente a notícia.
ABSTRACT: This project / study aims to examine the discursive behavior in the journalistic treatment of two cases - "Maddie Case "and “Rui Pedro Case" in the "Correio da Manhã and the "Jornal de Notícias” The theoretical ground for the Systemic Functional Linguistics and as the main tool of this paper "Appraisal Theory" (Martin and White, 2005) I tried to account for the linguistic choices used by the speakers / writers to understand the positioning in level of attitudes used when seeking to communicate, interpret the linguistic resources available in the language and describe the engagement of the writer, both with the text and also with the reader. Through the creation of a corpus of production in both daily and a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the same depth, with the backdrop of the subsystems of a Appraisal Theory - they way that the code of ethics was broken must disclose the categories like Attitude (affect, Judgement and Appreciation) Engagement and Graduation. It was also possible to determine what type of interpersonal manifestations occur in two daily for such a study will help to "PFL" speaking students to better understand and analyze this type of texts including news.
