"Perdidos num imenso mar" : dificuldades do professor principiante

Este trabalho visa analisar o eventual choque com a realidade, sofrido pelo
professor principiante, caracterizando as suas manifestações e determinando alguns
factores que o influenciam.
Sob o ponto de vista metodológico, foram realizadas entrevistas semidirectivas, a
partir das quais foi construído um questionário que, após validação clínica, foi aplicado
a setenta e cinco professores que leccionavam níveis de ensino que abrangem o
conjunto que vai desde o 5º ano até ao 12° ano. Sobre as respostas foram realizados
estudos de frequências e percentagens e foi realizada a análise factorial em componentes
principais. A validade interna foi também calculada pelo teste alpha de Cronbach.
Os resultados mostram alguns matizes, em relação aos resultados referidos na
literatura da especialidade.
This dissertation aims to analyse the reality shock suffered by the teachers participating in the study, as well as characterising its effects and determining some of the factors influencing it. The study used semi-structured interviews from which a questionnaire was developed that after validation was used to interview seventy five secondary education teachers. The results were analysed using frequency and percentages analysis as well as factor analysis of key components. We also used Cronbach alpha test that have shown the results are valid. The findings of this study show a few small nuances with those presented in key specialised studies o f this subject.
