Abstract(s)
O seguinte trabalho desenvolvido tem como intenção de formular uma proposta de reabilitação para o edifício conhecido como o antigo Restaurante Panorâmico de Monsanto em Lisboa. O Panorâmico de Monsanto é um edifício do século XX localizado no Parque Florestal de Monsanto em Lisboa, utilizado como miradouro municipal que se encontra em estado de ruína e abandono.
Apesar dos sinais visíveis de decadência e as condicionantes de acessibilidade ao sítio, o Panorâmico continua a fazer deslocar pessoas ao seu encontro diariamente, pelas vistas privilegiadas que proporciona sobre a cidade de Lisboa, mas também sua morfologia e intervenções artísticas que tem vindo a ser alvo ao longo dos seus anos.
A presente proposta procura voltar atrás no tempo e devolver ao edifício a vida de aquando da sua construção, com diferentes programas que não sujeitam o edifício a um único uso.
Em suma pretende-se reviver este edifício garantindo condições confortáveis para o ser humano com especial atenção a temáticas de reabilitação, conservação, restauro e integração de estratégias bioclimáticas.
This study aims to formulate a rehabilitation proposal for the building known as the old Panoramic Restaurant of Monsanto in Lisbon. The Panorâmico de Monsanto is a 20th century building located in the Monsanto Forest Park in Lisbon, currently in a state of ruin and abandonment. Despite visible signs of decay and accessibility constraints to the site, the Panorâmico continues to attract visitors daily, due to its panoramic views of the city of Lisbon, as well as its morphology and artistic interventions that have been target over the years. This proposal seeks to revert the building to its original state at the time of its construction, introducing diverse programs that do not limited the structure to a single purpose. In conclusion, the goal is to revive this building, ensuring comfortable conditions for human beings, with a particular focus on the themes of rehabilitation, conservation, restoration, and the integration of bioclimatic strategies.
