Resumo(s)

This research approach the designer as an author of children's books without text. We believe that these professionals are able to extract everything a book without text can offer as means and language for children. We chose a group of four books without text, created by designers and awarded in national and international scene. We have prepared activities that would provide the relationship children-books without text, and we apply them to a group of children pre-readers and readers-start. After a first reading, free and individual, children exploit them a second time, in groups, under our guidance. We bring here the conclusions of our research, considering the analysis of selected books from the perspective of children, their final target
