This article focuses on the work of visual artist Cássio Vasconcellos (1965). In the width of his work, the series “Aéreas” – Aerials (2010), in the photobook Cássio Vasconcello: aéreas (2010), was chosen to be presented and discussed. It is a set of 50 images with plongée point of view, images that stun and fascinate, taking the observer, with the photographer, as a co-author in producing sense to the images. The concepts of Photography-Expression (Rouillé, 2009) and Expanded Photography (Fernandes, 2002;2006) will be a startong point to understand this ethical and esthetical route
