This paper aims at showing the ways in which the Restoration and Conservation Laboratory of the BA in Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon engages with visiting students. The strategy involves showing them the raw material that the sculptures in the reserve are made from — plaster –, its history and function, as well as how sculptures and replicas are made
