para a criação do evento Sports Sciences Day.
This work comes from the internship practiced in performance analysis – Benfica LAB in Sport Lisboa and Benfica on the 2015-2016 season and is divided into three areas: Area 1 – Professional Practice – we show the description of all the operational work developed during the internship practice both in the first team, as well in the Under-16, from the diagnostic tasks, specific training, operational and complementary tasks. Area 2 – Investigation – analysis of the goals scored by the U16 of Sport Lisboa and Benfica in the period 2015-2016 in order to verify a relation between the offensive tactical patterns and the obtained results. We found that the highest number of recoveries occurred in the offensive midfield and that the most frequent method of attack was Counter Attack. It was also possible to verify a positive association between the variables defined earlier. Area 3 – Relationship with the community – describes the procedures performed for the creation of the Sports Sciences Day event. This event had the purpose of informing the public about some of the operational practices of Benfica Lab.
