Resumo(s)
Several neurological manifestations may be associated with hyperosmotic hyperglycemic nonketotic state (HHNK). Forty percent of HHNK patients have acute symptomatic seizures, mostly focal. Motor seizures, such as epilepsia partialis continua, are the most common, while non motor ones are less recognized. Epileptic disorders of visual perception are rarely reported. We report a case of inaugural diabetes, involving multivariate visual phenomena and occipital epilepsy.
